[ENGAGED] is a one-day virtual retreat that seeks to prepare engaged couples for the Sacrament of Matrimony and every day after. Paul and Gretchen George present engaging sessions throughout the day, using humor and parts of their own story to present the importance of properly preparing for marriage. The talks will incorporate the following themes: family of origin, marriage expectations, communication, sexuality, finances, and shared spirituality. It will focus on the importance of discerning and preparing for a life-long companionship. When couples begin the hard work during an engagement, marriages start off with a firmer foundation and an understanding of how God intended marriage to be. This retreat seeks to explore how God desires us to live out our marriage vocation.

How to Register

[ENGAGED] Online is hosted on our Art of Living - Marriage Support Network through a platform called “Mighty Networks.” When you click the registration link, you will be given the option to purchase [ENGAGED] Online Marriage Prep Retreat for $119.99. This will give you access to the retreat content + access to a network of married and engaged couples to connect with, ask questions, and share experiences. Sessions can be completed at your own pace. Once they are complete, you will receive an email (in a few days) with a certificate of completion.

  • Description text goes hereThis virtual retreat is for couples engaged to be married in the Catholic Church. If you are a married couple, we invite you to attend one of our [MARRIED] events. This program is not for dating couples.

    This day is meant for both you and your fiancé to experience it together, as marriage is two people each giving 100%. In order to receive your certificate of completion from the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, both of you must attend.
